Al-Shaab Cultural & Sports Club

Reinforced-concrete bleachers are under construction at Al-Shaab Cultural & Sports Club, designed by British architecture firm Brewerton, Guyan & Howland. The consulting engineers were British firm Marks, Heeley & Brothwell and the contractor was the Contractors Group International, a Sharjah-based company. Situated in Sharjah’s Al Hazannah neighborhood not far from Sharjah Sports Club, the club was open to paying members in the mid-1970s. Courtesy of Globe Constructors.
